Elham Farmers' Market

Our friendly Sunday morning market has become an established part of village life and a popular destination for visitors from neighbouring towns.

We are tucked into the courtyard of the historic Rose & Crown Inn on Elham High Street - the perfect place for Sunday lunch after your market visit. We open between 10am and 12pm on the second and fourth Sunday of every month between March and December. Our last market of the year is our popular Christmas market - on the second Sunday in December - and we re-open after the winter with a fanfare on the second Sunday in March.

We sell morning-picked berries, local honey, fresh pork sausages and joints from happy, free-range Saddleback pigs, tasty home bakes, jams and chutneys, free-range eggs, seasonal vegetables, delicious cheeses, freshly baked bread, game and smoked fish, fragrant pastries and tarts, moreish handmade chocolates and beautiful cottage-style plants and flowers. The Elham community is directly involved through the popular Elham Gardens Stall - where villagers sell their excess fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants. We also have guest stalls on an occasional basis selling more exotic foods and crafts.
