Many agree that Deal is a special place and the prettiest seaside town in Kent. Henry VIII liked it so much he built three castles here.

  Built in 1954 the pier was the first seaside pleasure pier of any size to be built since 1910. Deal pier continues to be a significant local landmark and is internationally recognised as an angling venue.
