Stroll along one of the country’s most beautiful promenades
unspoilt by commercial development and watch the ferries come and
go from one of the busiest passenger ports in the world. Continue
westwards towards the clock tower and you will pass several
memorials dedicated to pioneers crossing the channel and
dedications to those who lost their lives in the 2 world wars.

A self guided trail around Historic Dover. The town is packed with
relics of history. You can follow the trail using the information
sheet from the Visitor Information centre, which shows the location
panels describing the areas history.
