Sandwich Bay
Explore Sandwich Bay and relax in the peaceful environment with
just the sound of seagulls and the waves lapping on the shore.
Deal
Facing Deal Castle the imposing fort built by Henry VIII, is
Deal beach with gently sloping shingle, take a dip and try and spot
the wrecks on the infamous Goodwin Sands. Cafes, pubs and great
food at the end of Deal Pier are all within an easy walking
distance.
St Margarets Bay
Dabble your toes in the rock pools enjoy fantastic views across
the channel, you can even see France.On the beach is the former
home of Noel Coward bought by Ian Fleming
that may inspire you to follow the Moonraker and Goldfinger
routes.
Refreshments are available at the Coastguard Pub serving the
finest fresh produce, or the tea/coffee kiosk on the bay car park
(Summer only). Public toilets are available in the car park.
Dover Harbour
& Shakespeare Beach
Enjoy the fantastic views across the worlds busiest straits, in
the lee of Dover's most impressive cliff - Shakespeare, depicted in
King Lear, and the inspiration for many famous literary
figures.
Toilets and refreshments are available along the promenade.
