Royal St George's

This Links course provides a severe test for even the greatest of golfers and the fact that only three Open winners, Bill Rogers in 1981, Greg Norman in 1993 and Ben Curtis in 2003, have managed to be under par after the 72 holes, speaks for itself.

Royal Cinque Ports     

Royal Cinque Ports at Deal has twice hosted the Championship, in 1909 when J H Taylor won the title, and again in 1920 when the winner was George Duncan. In more recent times it has been the venue for The Amateur in 1982, The Seniors Open Amateur in 1987 and the St Andrews Trophy in 1992.

Prince's Golf Course

Prince’s has recently celebrated its centenary and has hosted numerous major competitions, including the Open Championship in 1932. Gene Sarazen claimed the trophy to extend an unbroken nine-year run of American success. Last year it was the qualifying course when The Amateur was played at St George’s.

Kingsdown and Walmer
