A challenging 18-hole downland golf course, set atop the White
Cliffs, between Dover and Deal. The course offers superb views of
the English Channel from every hole and is a delight to play.
Originally formed to encourage families and ladies to play golf,
it has undergone many changes in its time.
During the world wars the clubhouse was used as a billet for up
to sixty men and the course was covered in barbed wire, gun
emplacements and a barrage balloon.
The course is very different today. Played on both the east and
west side of a ridge, overlooking the village of Kingsdwon, you can
enjoy this downland course measuring 6471 yards off the white tees
- offering challenges to players of all abilities.
