Dover
The cliffs are a welcome sight for millions of travellers and
have been an inspiration for one of the country’s most popular
wartime songs.
Follow in the footsteps of some of history’s greats and
experience some of White Cliffs Country rich heritage. Within the
walls of Dover Castle there is 2000 years of history waiting to be
explored. The first “cross channel ferry” was discovered here in
1992. The Bronze Age Boat is now on display in a special gallery
within Dover Museum.
Enjoy magnificent views and watch the yachts, cruise ships and
ferries sail by from the superb promenade.
