Our ancient towns of Dover, Deal and Sandwich, are all very different in character but all linked by history and their strategic position on England’s south east coast.

We are well connected too; royals, nobles and dignitaries have all lived here. Our beaches have witnessed monumental events in history. Julius Caesar landed here in 55 BC and Lord Nelson and his entourage arrived in 1801.

The surrounding countryside offers archetypal rural England. Rolling farmland, dense woodlands, pretty villages and narrow country lanes lie just inland from the sweeping shoreline and world famous majestic White Cliffs that are iconic throughout the world.
