In line with the Government's Winter Plan, national restrictions for England are replaced by the Tier system from 2nd December 2020. Some of our hospitality businesses in White Cliffs Country will be open under relevant Tier guidelines and look forward to welcoming visitors.
Restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars across White Cliffs Country may be offering a take-away service and we recommend that you check with individual businesses as you may be required to book ahead, online or by phone.
Some of our parks and gardens remain open, in line with Government guidelines on accessing green space and outdoor exercise. We regularly update our website with changes but would recommend that you use it for inspiration; plan ahead and check the sites of the places you want to visit directly, as some will need to be pre-booked in advance.

Over the past few months, contactless payment has become common practice across the country. If you prefer to pay with cash, it will be advisable to check with the business ahead of your purchase.
Currently in England it is mandatory to wear face masks on public transport. It is also currently mandatory to wear face coverings in all shops and in restaurants, bars and cafes unless seated at a table.
In line with the Government guidance, we recommend that social distancing and hand washing remain the two key actions to help protect everyone and many of our businesses have invested in providing additional hygiene to ensure that Covid secure protocols, to help to keep you safe.
