Updown Farm, the brand-new restaurant with rooms from Oliver Brown and Ruth Leigh, located in a 17th-Century Grade II-listed farmhouse in Deal, is now open for dining and accommodation.
The beautifully restored farmhouse and grounds are set within seven and a half acres of rolling Kent countryside, just fifteen minutes from the popular coastal town of Deal. Seven rooms, including two cottages, reflect the house’s unique character, hidden within its own magical woodland and mature wildflower gardens.
There are four rooms in the house, two with king size beds and two with super king beds. Rooms are currently available to book Thursday – Sunday inclusive but can be booked for longer stays on request.
Breakfast is served in the house kitchen or outside on the terrace. For guests joining us on Fridays and Sundays we will keep a table for you at one of the events happening; on other days we will contact you to ask if you would like dinner at the house.
Restaurant bookings can be made here, and room bookings here.
