Fishing

If you fancy trying a spot of sea fishing, step aboard a large charter fishing vessel operating from Dover Marina. Coker Fishing Trips operates 2 boats from the marina 7 days a week, all year round.

If you don’t fancy a fishing trip, with over a mile of sea wall perfect for sea angling is Samphire Hoe. This stunning location at the foot of Shakespeare Cliff was made from the material dug to create the Channel Tunnel.

Deal Pier is internationally recognised as an angling venue. Built in 1954, Deal Pier was the first seaside pleasure pier of any size to be built since 1910.

Set within 45 acres of wooded country is Cottington Lakes fishery. With mixed coarse lakes, specimen carp lakes and a match lake, the fishery has a variety of angling to suit everyone.
