Dating back to 1966 the “Lord of Lydden” and “Sidecar Burn Up” has attracted many top riders - such as Shane “Shaky” Byrne, six times BSB Champion and Lord of Lydden in 1997, and sidecar competitor Tim Reeves, TT winner and eight times World Champion, who is the current Burn-Up Champion.
On track during the weekend there will be classes for: Production 400cc – Production pre86 600cc – Supertwins - Super Mono's and Desmo Ducati (Saturday only) – Open Class 250GP to1200cc together with F1&F2 Sidecars and Classic Sidecars - culminating on Sunday afternoon, with the fastest competitors going through to find this year’s Lord of Lydden and Sidecar Burn Up champion.

The fully stocked licensed marquee bar will also be open during the day where you can chat to many of the previous Lords of Lydden – Sidecar Burn Up winners and maybe one or two celebrities, who will be present together with a display of classic motorcycles.
The Kent Youth Trials Club will also be displaying their skills in their purpose-built arena.
In the evening on Saturday the marquee bar will host the very popular live entertainment, and on Sunday after racing, the awards presentation will take place.
