Calling cyclists of all ages and abilities – ride to celebrate Bagpuss’s* 50th birthday and raise funds for children’s hospice care!
How many laps can you manage of Lydden Hill Race Circuit – can you reach the impressive milestone of 50 laps to honour Hospices of Hope's beloved mascot?
Click on the link to secure your spot. Registration fees are £40 for a family of four, £15 per adult and £10 for children under 16 and concessions. Spectators and non-participating adults accompanying children can attend for free.
*Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Once you’ve secured your spot, set up your fundraising page (details on how to do this will be sent to you). Whether you can conquer one lap or an impressive 50, every amount raised is greatly appreciated!
On the event day, there will be entertainment and enjoyable activities for everyone to participate in. Cyclists will also receive a special medal and goody bag after completing their laps.
* Bagpuss, a charming children's stop motion animation, was first seen on 12 February 1974, starring the 'saggy old cloth cat' Bagpuss. Only 13 episodes were ever made, but the programme remained popular through the generations and was voted the all-time favourite children's programme in 1999.
