A Celebration of Music and the Arts
Welcome to the 2025 Deal Festival, an annual celebration of music, creativity, and cultural heritage. This year’s programme of over 50 events brings together world-class performances spanning classical, jazz, folk, opera, and contemporary music, alongside theatre, film, literature, visual arts, and family and community events. Returning favourites like Wild Arts and Chaps Choir join exciting new partnerships with Tomorrow’s Warriors, the Fantasia Orchestra, festival president Lucy Crowe and a performance by folk legends Spiers & Boden. Our 2025 theme, Coastlines, celebrates the connection between music, place, and community between Dover and Deal.
Some events are free. Most day-time events cost £10-£15 and evening events on average £20-£25. Children and family events vary from £5-£10. All events are half-price for under 25s.
The festival is held at a range of venues in Deal, Sandwich and Dover including The Astor Theatre, St George’s Church, Linden Hall Studio and Deal Castle in Deal, St Mary’s Arts Centre in Sandwich and Dover Town Hall.
