The former home of Margaret, Lady FitzWalter, Goodnestone Park Gardens is one of Kent’s outstanding gardens covering 14 acres with views over parkland. Jane Austen was once a frequent visitor as her brother married a daughter of the house - follow in her footsteps to explore these lovely gardens.

The formal area with fine old specimen trees leads to a small arboretum with an avenue of limes adjoining a mature woodland area with a 1920's rockery and pond. The walled garden has been redesigned over the last 30 years with new plantings continuing all the time.

Plants are for sale which grow in the garden and have been propagated on the premises. Refreshments available at the Old Dairy Café.
