Docker Bakery is delighted to open in Dover, in the newly built Bench building on Bench Street, a stone’s throw from the town’s Market Square, and St James Retail Park.

Docker Dover offers a full range of its freshly-baked sourdough breads, pastries and drinks, including Curve Roasters coffee, alongside a seasonal day-time food menu featuring sandwiches, salads and soups, to eat in or take away.

It is accessible from street level, has 34 covers, including a small number of outdoor seats with views of Dover Castle, and there is parking nearby.

Docker opened in a small shipping container on the East Yard at Folkestone Harbour in 2016, and grew from its founders’ shared passion for fermentation — both in craft brewing and in sourdough baking.

They have become renowned for their artisanal sourdough bread and pastries, and flavourful beers and soft drinks.

Docker Dover is open from Monday to Saturday, and joins existing sites in Folkestone at Park Farm, Canterbury at The Goods Shed, and Ashford.
