Solley's have been making Kentish Ice Cream for over three decades using fresh Channel Island milk delivered twice a week from neighbouring farms' Jersey and Guernsey cows, some of which are direct descendants from their own herd. The milk is pasteurised on the farm in 600-litre batches, with extra double cream added to each batch before being allowed to age in the holding tanks for 24 hours to create the rich and creamy texture that Solley's ice cream is renowned for.
The base mix is blended to create each individual flavour, before being filled by hand and frozen. 85% of the base ingredients are sourced locally within Kent.
With over 20 flavours to choose from, pick your favourites to enjoy hand scooped in a cone, or pick up a tub or two to take home. For those who just can’t choose, their famous Solley’s Super Bowl includes 12 scoops of ice cream and is perfect for sharing. Breakfast, light lunches and snacks are also available at the parlour, freshly made on site, along with hot and cold drinks.
As well as visiting the parlour, you can also order 750ml tubs, 120ml cups and 4.75L Napolis online via Solley's website for home delivery to various areas throughout Kent.
