The Freed Man was previously a post office but has been converted to a friendly, independent micropub and is a great place where people can come together to enjoy good quality drinks.
There is no food offer, but you are welcome to buy something from the Fish & Chip shop next door and eat them in the bar (the bar will provide plates!). Thursday night is ladies night where a free platter of nibbles is provided to go with drinks.
The Freed Man's ethos is to move as far away from corporate chain pubs and brewery-owned pubs as possible, so expect products you rarely see on the high street.
