The Old School Coffee Shop & Kitchen serves affordable breakfasts and brunches daily, and a tasty Sunday carvery from the old school in Aylesham and is the perfect spot to begin or end a walk or bike ride through the beautiful South Downs. There is plenty of free on-site parking available.
Established in July 2025, the delicious food, including hearty and affordable meals, are all freshly made using good quality ingredients from local suppliers.

- Sunday carvery (licensed) - two sittings at 12.30pm and 2.30pm

Set in the heart of the rural village of Aylesham, just outside Canterbury, the building (run by Aylesham Community Trust) is also a welcoming, flexible venue for meeting, working, celebrations (such as weddings and parties) and community events, with the added benefit that every booking supports the local community.
Spaces can be hired with or without catering, and on‑site refreshment options are available through the Trust’s catering offer. As a not‑for‑profit charity, Aylesham Community Trust reinvests all income from venue hire back into supporting local people, groups and community services across Aylesham and the surrounding former coalfield villages.
