Discover authentic Dover, Deal and Sandwich through visiting our wonderful markets. Find delicious local food and drink, browse the antiques and bric-a-brac, soak up the atmosphere and get a glimpse into the local way of life. There are also regular boot fairs where you can bag a bargain or two.

Deal Saturday Market

Located at the north end of the High Street in the heart of the Georgian Conservation Area each Saturday from 8am to 2pm (April to October) and 9am to 2pm (November to March), Deal Saturday Market has been a Chartered Market since 1699. You'll find popular stalls selling fresh flowers and plants, many different foods (all locally sourced, produced or homemade), bric-a-brac, antiques and more. Stop at Real Deal Roasters' coffee van for a locally roasted coffee before continuing on your way!

Sandwich Town Market

Held every Thursday from 8am to 1pm and Saturday from 8.30am to 1.30pm outside the Guildhall in the centre of town, well-established Sandwich Town Market is easily accessible with plenty of parking nearby. There are stalls selling freshly baked bread, plants and cut flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables, gifts, fabric and much more.

Sandwich Antiques Market

In addition to the traditional weekly markets in Sandwich, you'll find a popular monthly antiques market on the Guildhall Forecourt (or inside the Guildhall if the weather is too bad). Held on the second Sunday of each month, stallholders from across Kent sell antiques and collectibles. 

Dover's Bluebird Market

This small market is held every Tuesday in the Market Square from 9am to 3pm. You'll find a variety of fruit and vegetables and bric-a-brac.

Capel-le-Ferne Farmers' Market

Every Tuesday from 10am to 12.30pm, there's a thriving market in Capel-le-Ferne Village Hall with stalls selling fruit, vegetables, fresh fish, homemade produce, crafts, cards, woodcrafts and more.

Whitfield Craft and Farmers' Market

Held in Whitfield Village Hall on Thursdays from 8.30am to 12pm, this popular local market sells local food, including farm-fresh eggs and meat from a butchers, a variety of crafts and refreshments.

Tilmanstone Bootfair

A weekly bootfair held every Sunday and Bank Holiday, weather permitting. Location CT15 5BQ. Open from 6am to all (buyers and sellers). Sellers pay £10 cash on the way in. Buyers enter by bucket donation. Dogs welcome. For more information, see the organiser's Facebook page
