Solley’s has been producing delicious, real dairy ice cream on the family farm for over three decades. Explore the farm on marked trails before visiting the Ice Cream Parlour where there are over 20 flavours to choose from. 

Parlour and farm opening times:

  • April –  3 September 2023: daily 10am – 5pm
  • From Monday 4 September 2023: daily 10am – 4pm
  • October 2023: Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm (closed Monday & Tuesday)
  • 21 – 29 October 2023: open daily 10am – 4pm 
  • November – 22 December 2023: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm (then closed from Saturday 23 December 2023 for the rest of the month)
  • January & February 2024: closed

Tractor rides run daily during the summer school holidays and at weekends during term time from 11am to 4pm, dependent on the weather. If in doubt, please call ahead to check!  Rides are just £2.50 per person, under 3s go free. Please purchase your tractor ride tickets at the Ice Cream Parlour, and bear in mind there may be a wait at busier times. 

The marked farm trail takes you on a journey around the farm for a chance to learn more about how an arable farm works throughout the seasons and the abundance of wildlife in the area. Starting at the Ice Cream Parlour, go past the pond and head out across the fields. Solley's favourite routes, can be downloaded here, or pick up a leaflet at the parlour. The footpaths and cycle paths link the farm to other local attractions and places of interest, from those looking for an easy afternoon stroll to more seasoned walkers wanting to spend the day exploring the local area.

New for 2023, The Pub at Solley’s serves an extensive selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Find a table outside and soak up the sunshine, or head inside and settle in for the evening on a comfy sofa. From the Ice Cream Parlour, head down the slope and across the paddock and it’s the black, weather-boarded building straight ahead.
