Dover Sea Safari provides unique and exhilarating family-friendly coastal tours aboard their distinctive orange and black, purpose-build RHIBs - this is one experience you will never forget!

The skippers provide a professional, fun and interactive experience that is suitable for ages 3 and over. Step aboard at Dover Harbour, head past the huge cross-Channel ferries and cruise ships and out to sea on an adventure of a lifetime.

Scheduled safaris

The White Cliffs & Beyond - get up close to our iconic White Cliffs and travel along the coast to the popular seaside town of Deal. Loads to see and learn about on the way. (1.5 hours)

Secret Seals - travel past the iconic White Cliffs and onwards to find our wonderful seal colony to see them in their natural peaceful habitat. You will get amazing pictures and learn about these lovely creatures. (2 hours)

Goodwin Sands - a seriously unique trip onto the infamous sands where, depending on conditions, you can leave the boat (following safety advice!) to explore for approximately 45 minutes before returning to Dover. (3 hours)

Please note

  • Advance booking is highly recommended and do call ahead if there are strong winds to ensure trips are running. If the weather is unsuitable for sailing, safaris can be cancelled within 30 minutes prior to departure (bookings will be rescheduled).
  • All children must wear the child life-jackets supplied and the skipper will take sea conditions into account before allowing infants to travel. 
  • Life jackets are mandatory and will be supplied.
  • It us usually a lot colder at sea than on land - you are advised to wear layers, a waterproof jacket, secure hats and flat-heeled shoes. Dover Sea Safari can provide splash gear if needed.
  • Sea Safaris are not recommended if you are pregnant or have any historical/current back/neck pain or injury.
