Join Ranger Helena from White Cliffs Countryside Partnership and Ranger Sam from Bird Wise East Kent on a gentle summer walk around Betteshanger Country Park to look for birds and other wildlife.

This walk is suitable for all the family, particularly beginners looking to learn more about local birds and wildlife.

  • All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Free to attend but spaces on the walk are limited so please book your space. Please remember to cancel if you can no longer attend, so other people might be able to come along.
  • Bring binoculars if you have them.
  • The walk will last approximately 2 hours.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome on the guided walk, but they must be kept on a lead throughout.

Meet under the walkway roof, between the cycle shop and mining museum entrances.

Parking
Pay on at a kiosk on exit (card & coins). ANPR parking is in use. There is a 20-minute grace period for drop off / pick up.

You can enter Betteshanger on foot or by bicycle for free.
Blue Badge holders are exempt from parking charges but are required to take their badge and registration number to a member of Betteshanger staff at Reception.
