With a stunning backdrop and brilliant sound, Music on the Curve returns this May Bank Holiday weekend with local artists alongside exciting performances from across the region. Whether you’re stopping by during a walk, meeting friends or family, or looking to discover something new, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere celebrates community, creativity and the unique talent of Dover.
Saturday 2 May
- South Coast Samba will be opening the season! The walking band will promenade the Curve from 1-2pm.
- Next, Salsadelic will play an infectious mix of Latin Jazz, New York Salsa and Cuban Son Montuno until 4pm.
- Future Foundry’s The Forge: Youth Market will be there from 12-4pm.
Sunday 3 May
- Cohesion Plus will play their high energy, celebratory fusion of music & dance from Southern Africa & North India from 2-4pm.
- Artlings On The Curve invites young creatives to celebrate the spirit of May Day with a hands-on workshop making ribbon twirlers, nature weaving, crowns, alongside pebble painting and a drawing table from 12-4pm. 0-10 ages recommended, all families welcome.
- From 12-4pm, sessions with Primal Runners and Art Club Run Club built around running, cycling, breath, cold water and connection. Run along the seafront, drop into a session, take a ride on one the bikes, take the plunge with an ice bath immersion to reset your system!
Monday 4 May
- The Steve Nathan Big Band with its powerhouse 17-piece ensemble will redefine big band jazz with a fresh voice from 2-4pm.
