Take a venture along the sea wall with your eyes to the skies. You may see the fastest animal in the world zoom past, the Peregrine Falcon. There could be an appearance from the UK’s closest relative to an albatross, the Fulmar. Or we may spot House Martins flitting around the cliffs as they build their nest for the summer.
Samphire Hoe Ranger Paul will be equipped with a telescope and binoculars at the Dover end of the sea wall to help you become a master of sea bird identification. Learn some fun facts you’ll want to tell all of your friends about the birds that call this special place home!
This event is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This is a drop-in event, just turn up any time between 10 am and 12 pm, no need to book. This is a FREE event with donations gratefully appreciated.
