Save the date!
Deal 2026 will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Deal Carnival, the south east’s largest and oldest carnival. Founded in 1826 by the town council and given royal patronage by the Duke of Clarence, the original aim of the event was to promote trade to the town.
In the 200 years since, the carnival has expanded to be a week of varied and fun events that continue to promote trade in the town, but which also attract visitors and boost community spirit.
