The 2026 Deal Festival, is an annual celebration of music, creativity, and cultural heritage. This year’s programme brings together world-class performances spanning classical, jazz, folk, opera, and contemporary music, alongside theatre, talks hosted by broadcaster Gavin Esler, visual arts, and family and community events. Returning favourites Wild Arts are coming with Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro in Sandwich and Changeling Theatre return with Much Ado About Nothing at Dover Castle. They are joined by exciting new appearances from outstanding young classical and jazz artists, and a performance by folk legends Gigspanner Big Band, jazz bassist Gary Crosby's quintet and classical giants, Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason (cello and piano).

Some events are free. Most day-time events cost £13-£15 and evening events on average £22-£25. Children and family events vary from £5-£10, with a number of free events. All events are half-price for under 25s.
