Make a note of these dates for fantastic Heritage Open Days in Dover, Deal and Sandwich, including a fantastic programme of walks, talks, tours and access to fascinating places not usually or often open to the public.
Dover
Highlights this year include Dover History Teatime Talks at Dover Museum, guided walks and tours of sites not often open to the public, such as Wanstone Battery on the White Cliffs, Dover College, Admiralty Pier and the Eastern Docks Admiralty Generating Station. The programme of events will be on The Dover Society website in late July.
Deal & Walmer
This year there will be a series of coffee-time talks at the Astor Community Theatre which will feature a diverse range of topics about local history, as well as other events.
