Come along to explore the incredible underwater world of the River Dour at Barton Path!

Ranger Jasmine will be on hand to help you catch some of the creatures that call the River Dour home and assist with identification. How many freshwater shrimps can you catch? Will you be quick enough to net a fish?

A great opportunity to learn more about this beautiful chalk river and go for a paddle!

Please wear shoes that can get wet or wellies/water shoes, footwear is essential for anyone wishing to paddle in the river. A change of clothes is also recommended.

Please note- if the conditions are not safe for entering the river on the day of the event, river dipping may take place from the riverbank instead.

This event is suitable for those aged 5+. Children must be accompanied at all times.

This is a drop-in event, just turn up any time between 10am and 12pm, no need to book. This is a FREE event with donations gratefully appreciated.
