Get ready for a fun-filled family adventure by the sea at Samphire Hoe!
Join Ranger Paul for an exciting Seashore Safari as you explore the stunning coastline and landscape beneath the iconic White Cliffs. Keep your eyes peeled for coastal birds as you make your way to the beach, then discover the fascinating world of rock pools!
Using nets and equipment provided, you’ll have the chance to search for crabs, fish, shrimp and other amazing marine creatures that call the shoreline home. To round off your adventure, Ranger Paul will help you identify treasures washed up along the strandline and hidden amongst the pebbles such as mermaid purses, cuttlefish bones or maybe a fossil!
Please wear sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting wet and a change of clothes. You are very welcome to bring your lunch and have a picnic on the beach after the event.
This event is suitable for those aged 5+. Children must be accompanied at all times.
