Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April 2026
10am – 2pm (with a 30-minute break)
In this weekend workshop you will discover how to create exciting imaginary landscapes with oil and cold wax to achieve visually stunning results. I will show you essential techniques, tools and materials used to create wonderful textural effects and depth in your paintings. Absolutely no experience is necessary, just come prepared to have fun and be inspired!
Day 1 • Demonstration • Introduction to mixing paint and blending colours in thin layers • BREAK • Application techniques using various tools to create exciting textures, building up layers throughout the morning
Day 2 • Learn how to create stunning textures over your dry painting • How to use layers to add more depth and interest • BREAK • How to edit your abstract composition • The big reveal! Your completed masterpieces unmasked!
