The Friends of the Maison Dieu are delighted to invite you to a two part willow basket weaving workshop.
In the splendour of the stone hall, you will have the opportunity to weave your own climbing plant basket. which could be used for sweet peas or other climbers.
Learn from our resident willow weaving expert Mary, who will take you through the steps. Stop for a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the atmosphere, imagine all the baskets that will have been woven at the Maison Dieu throughout history.
This workshop is in two parts, please make sure you can attend both sessions, your ticket includes both sessions. (Part 2 - 2nd August)
You are required to bring your own set of secateurs.
