Myths, Monsters & Ghosts at Maison Dieu

Step into the shadows of history and imagination this October at Maison Dieu, Dover's historic and magnificent town hall, where storytelling, games and hands-on creativity bring mythical creatures and ghostly tales to life.
Join a Medieval Monster Hunter as they delve into the world of legendary beasts and discover the secrets of dragons, griffins, and other mythical creatures. Wander through the haunted halls with a ghostly guide, the Victorian Ghost Lady, who shares chilling, site-specific tales inspired by Dover’s eerie past. Create your own mythical or ghostly characters at the Shadow Puppet Workshop, a drop-in arts and crafts activity, and explore the building on a self-guided trail that ties into the stories told by our performers. Solve clues, uncover secrets, and earn your certificate as a brave explorer of the unknown!
